Arnav Arora is a PhD student at the University of Copenhagen, advised by Isabelle Augenstein . His research sits at the intersection of Natural Language Processing and Computational Social Science, focused on the societal impact of large language models — bias, misinformation, hate speech, and the broader question of who these systems work for and who they don’t. Through his work, he hopes to contribute to building more equitable technology. He has publications in A* venues such as ACL, NAACL, EMNLP, AAAI, EACL. Prior to this, he spent some time in industry as a Research Engineer at Checkstep, a content moderation startup.
